200 drops from 1.20 metres, in a 366-gram folio
Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Gen 1 and Gen 212.3"366 gIK08 impact rated200 drops from 1.20 mKeyboard compatible
The ACTIV Pack is Mobilis's reinforced protective folio, built around TFP 4.0 - the company's own anti-shock material, which Mobilis says absorbs up to 90 percent of impact energy instantly and then disperses it. This version is cut specifically for the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Gen 1 and Gen 2, and it is keyboard compatible, so the detachable keyboard stays attached. Mobilis publishes the numbers rather than adjectives: more than 200 drops from 1.20 metres, eight times the requirement of MIL-STD 810-G, and certification to IK08 for impact resistance. It weighs 366 grams and is made in France.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a device-specific case: Mobilis cuts it for the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Gen 1 and ThinkPad X12 Gen 2, 12.3", and it works with the detachable keyboard attached. It will not fit other models. Two disclosures. Mobilis states plainly that the product is not licensed, authorised or approved by Lenovo. And the legal footnote on Mobilis's own datasheet for this reference mistakenly names the Lenovo Tab M11 and Tab K11 - a copy-paste error from its tablet range. The product title, reference and EAN are unambiguously ThinkPad X12; ignore the Tab line.
Best For
✓ You deploy ThinkPad X12 detachables into the field, a workshop, a warehouse or a classroom
✓ You need a published drop figure rather than a vague "rugged" claim - 200 drops from 1.20 m
✓ You want the keyboard to stay attached inside the case
✓ You need the device to stand for typing as well as travel - the cover folds into a base in two orientations
✓ You want a hand strap and a shoulder strap included rather than sold separately
✓ You want a stylus holder built in
Key Features
TFP 4.0 anti-shock material
Mobilis's own wording: the new generation of its exclusive anti-shock material, which instantly absorbs up to 90 percent of impact energy and then disperses it. It is reinforced with more microcells to cope better with repeated impacts.
Four Shock Wave Absorbers
Patented TFP 4.0 pads, adjustable in height and density and shaped to disperse impact energy away from the device rather than into it.
Perimetric Bumper
Mobilis's patented double integral bumpers on all four sides, absorbing lateral and corner impacts from above and below.
A published drop figure
More than 200 drops from a height of 1.20 metres - which Mobilis describes as eight times the requirement of military standard MIL-STD 810-G - plus IK08 certification for impact resistance.
Keyboard compatible
The case is designed to be used with the ThinkPad X12's detachable keyboard attached, which is the whole point of a 2-in-1 and the thing most protective folios get wrong.
Two-position folding stand
The cover folds into a base supporting a portrait layout for transport and a landscape layout for typing while standing.
Hand strap, shoulder strap and stylus holder
An elastic hand strap for one-handed use, a shoulder strap with braided nylon attachment rings rated to 15 kg of traction each, and a stylus holder. The stylus and cord are not included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which devices does it fit?
The Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Gen 1 and ThinkPad X12 Gen 2, 12.3", and it is designed to work with the detachable keyboard attached. It is a device-specific case and will not fit other models.
Why does the datasheet mention a Lenovo Tab M11?
Because of a copy-paste error in the legal footnote of Mobilis's own datasheet for this reference, carried over from its Lenovo tablet cases. The product title, reference 051073 and EAN 3700992533346 all identify the ThinkPad X12 case. Ignore the Tab M11 and K11 line.
Is it waterproof?
No. Mobilis makes no water-resistance claim for the ACTIV Pack anywhere in its datasheet. One large retailer lists "waterproof material" in its spec table; that is not from Mobilis and we do not repeat it.
What does IK08 mean?
It is an impact-protection rating from the IK code scale, covering resistance to mechanical impact. Mobilis pairs it with its own drop testing - more than 200 drops from 1.20 metres, which it describes as eight times the MIL-STD 810-G requirement.
Is the stylus included?
No. There is a stylus holder built into the case, but Mobilis states that the stylus and cord are not included.
Is it officially licensed by Lenovo?
No, and Mobilis says so itself: the product is not licensed, authorised or approved by Lenovo. It is designed to fit the device, not endorsed by its maker.
What warranty does Mobilis give?
Mobilis publishes no warranty period on the datasheet for this reference, and its IT product website is currently unavailable. One Austrian distributor states 12 months, which is a distributor term rather than a manufacturer claim. Our own cover is stated in the specifications above.
Singular Expert Insight
Mobilis is unusually specific for a case maker: a published drop count, a drop height, a named military standard comparison, an IK rating and two patented protection features. That is worth more than a page of "rugged" adjectives, and it is why the ACTIV Pack turns up in field and education deployments. Two things to be clear about. Mobilis makes no water-resistance claim at all here, despite a retailer spec table saying otherwise. And the datasheet for this exact reference carries a copy-paste error naming the Lenovo Tab M11 and K11 in its legal footnote - the product is for the ThinkPad X12 Gen 1 and Gen 2, confirmed by the title, reference and EAN. Practically, the two things that decide most purchases here are that it takes the keyboard and that it stands up for typing.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
In stock at Singular in Cyprus. Order online for delivery across the island, or contact us for fleet quantities.
Skip it if
Skip it if you need water resistance - Mobilis makes no water-resistance claim for the ACTIV Pack, and one large retailer describing the material as waterproof is not repeating anything the manufacturer says. Skip it if you have a different ThinkPad or a different generation, because this is cut for the X12 Gen 1 and Gen 2 only. And note that the stylus and its cord are not included, and Mobilis publishes no warranty period.
