The freecolor K20617F7 is a remanufactured ink cartridge that replaces the Brother LC223 Black, holding 13 ml for 580 pages (per freecolor) — for owners of Brother DCP-J4120 / MFC-J4420–J5720 printers who want to cut the cost per page without changing printer.

It is built on a collected original Brother shell that is cleaned, tested and refilled by ARMOR Print Solutions. freecolor is the remanufacturing brand of ARMOR Print Solutions (ARMOR Group), sold across Europe for almost 20 years.

• 1 × freecolor remanufactured black ink cartridge, 13 ml (LC223 type)
• Colour cartridges are not included — they are separate items

• Cost per page drops: the 13 ml cartridge is rated at 580 pages by the manufacturer, measured per freecolor.
• Installation is the same as with the original: open the cover, take out the empty cartridge, click the new one into the same slot.
• Your printer settings, drivers and paper stay exactly as they are — nothing to install on the computer.
• LC223 printers use four separate cartridges, so only the black is replaced when it runs out.
• Print a nozzle check after installing: if a colour shows gaps, one cleaning cycle from the printer menu usually clears it — avoid running several in a row, as each one uses ink.
• Replace only when the printer reports empty, not at the first low-ink warning — the warning appears while there is still ink left to print with.

• LC123/LC127 printers (DCP-J4110, MFC-J4410, MFC-J4510 etc.) — previous generation.
• LC3211/LC3213 printers (DCP-J572DW, MFC-J491DW, MFC-J890DW).
• Colour — cyan, magenta and yellow are separate LC223 cartridges.
