The Ricoh (Fujitsu) Consumable Kit 3710-400K contains two pick rollers and two brake rollers for the fi-7460 and fi-7480 A3 document scanners, covering up to 400,000 scans — two complete roller replacement cycles.

These rollers pick each sheet from the hopper and hold back the rest. When they wear, the scanner double-feeds, skews or fails to pick, and the roller counters in the Software Operation Panel show they are due.

Before you order: Kit 3710-400K is for the fi-7460 and fi-7480. The fi-7100/fi-7200 series uses kit 3670-400K and the fi-7600/fi-7700 uses kit 3740-500K. It is not the fi-748PRB post imprinter.

What It Means in Practice

  • Each roller is rated for 200,000 sheets, per the fi-7460 datasheet, so the kit covers two full changes.
  • Fit a new pick roller and brake roller together and keep the second pair for the next cycle.
  • Reset the counters in the Software Operation Panel: Device Setting > Clear for the brake roller and the pick roller.
  • Clean rollers between changes to keep feeding reliable.

What Will Not Work

  • It does not fit the fi-7100/fi-7200 series — their brake roller is different.
  • It does not fit the fi-7600/fi-7700 (kit 3740-500K).
  • It is not an imprinter and contains no ink cartridge.
  • It contains no cleaning fluid or cloths.
