This is vehicle and industrial hardware, not office hardware, and it is built like it. The Tablet Keyboard Mount attaches to the back of any Gamber-Johnson tablet docking station or cradle using the 75 mm VESA pattern, giving a docked tablet a keyboard that travels with it — in a patrol car, a forklift, a service van or on a warehouse console. The keyboard tilts down 30 degrees for working and swings up to 60 degrees vertical when stowed, so it is out of the way between jobs, and a tension handle lets you rotate it and lock it wherever it sits. Construction is heavy gauge steel and aluminium with a black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance. It measures 155 mm high, 147 mm wide and 254 mm deep and weighs 1.93 kg. Gamber-Johnson covers it with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check what you are mounting it to. The primary fixing is the 75 mm VESA pattern on the back of a Gamber-Johnson dock or cradle, and it also mounts to any Gamber-Johnson upper pole, motion attachment or “smiley face” pattern on a console system. Those mounts and consoles are sold separately — this part is the keyboard mount alone, not a complete assembly, and it is not a desk or under-desk tray. If you are specifying a full installation, tell us the vehicle and the dock model and we will list what else is needed. For other hardware there are additional hole patterns drilled in: AMPS (30 x 38 mm) in two locations, 2.5 x 2.5 in two locations, and a 2 x 7 Honeywell pattern. On the gaps: Gamber-Johnson does not publish a list of compatible keyboards or a maximum keyboard weight for this mount, so we quote neither — send us the keyboard model and we will check the fit against the pattern before you order.
