The Gamber-Johnson 7160-1418-00 is a rugged docking station for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro and Active5 Pro, built for fleets, field service, public safety and logistics vehicles where the tablet must charge, stay secure and connect to USB peripherals while the vehicle is moving.
This is the version with electronics and a bare wire power lead: it is hard-wired to the vehicle's DC supply (10-40 V) through a cable of about 167 cm, charges the tablet through POGO pins and adds two powered USB ports. The tablet docks and releases with one hand while it stays in its InfoCase rugged case.
Before you order: Gamber-Johnson lists this dock for the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro and Active5 Pro used in the InfoCase FM-SNP-TABA4PRO or FM-SNP-TABA5PRO case. The current product page does not list the original Galaxy Tab Active Pro (SM-T54x). For Active5 Pro, docks from revision M onwards are compatible; older docks need an upgrade kit.

- Install once in the vehicle: the tablet charges whenever it is docked, without loose USB chargers.

- VESA 75 mounting fits Gamber-Johnson Zirkona mounting components or a flat vertical surface.
What Will Not Work
- The original Galaxy Tab Active Pro: not listed by Gamber-Johnson for this part.
- A tablet without the specified InfoCase rugged case, or in a different case.
- Plugging into a cigarette lighter socket or mains socket: the bare wire lead must be installed to the vehicle power, ideally by an installer.
- Mounting to a vehicle without a mount: the dock needs a VESA 75 mount, pole or flat surface, sold separately.
