Gamber-Johnson Zirkona Large Joiner Ball Mount Component Anodised Aluminium up to 5 kg M20 Thread for Tablet Mounts Black

The Gamber-Johnson 7110-1236 is the Large Joiner of the Zirkona mounting system — an all-metal, anodised aluminium ball-and-socket joint that connects a Zirkona base or mounting plate to the device plate holding a tablet, small display, phone or marine electronics, and holds up to 5 kg.

Zirkona is Gamber-Johnson's light-duty mounting line used in fire and rescue, public safety and utility vehicles, and on boats. The joiner is the adjustable part: a quick-adjust tension handle lets the user reposition the device across the X, Y and Z axes and lock it in place, and the encapsulated ball design makes it harder to remove the device without tools. It threads onto the other Zirkona parts with M20 threads — for example the Zirkona marine mounting plate 18322.

• Use it to build or repair a Zirkona mount: base or plate → joiner → device plate or extension tube.
• 5 kg covers most rugged 10–12" tablets in a cradle, marine fish finders and chart plotters, and small displays.
• The tension handle allows one-hand repositioning, so the driver or operator can angle the screen away from glare.
• Gamber-Johnson recommends thread-locking compound (LOCTITE 9460/9461/9466) on all M20 threads — worth adding in vibrating vehicle or boat installations.

• It will not mount anything on its own — without a Zirkona base/plate and a device plate or cradle there is nothing to attach.
• It will not connect to RAM Mounts ball systems or AMPS/VESA plates directly; Gamber-Johnson does not publish cross-compatibility.
• It will not carry devices heavier than 5 kg, such as larger rugged laptops — those need a heavy-duty Gamber-Johnson pedestal and arm.
• It is not a 19" rack accessory and does not fit rack rails.
