A longer route from DisplayPort to a DVI screen

3 m1920 × 1080DP → DVI-D

Keep a DVI monitor in service when the computer provides DisplayPort and the route needs 3 m. This Cablexpert lead combines both connectors in one cable and is specified up to 1920 × 1080. Its black PVC jacket and shielded construction suit a routed desk connection; leave enough clearance for the larger DVI plug.

Use DisplayPort at the computer and DVI at the display. Check the actual digital DVI socket and required resolution before ordering. This is not a VGA or HDMI adapter; no refresh-rate guarantee is added beyond the manufacturer’s stated resolution.

Will it fit through a small pre-installed conduit?
Cable diameter alone is not enough: the DVI plug is larger. Check connector clearance and route access before installation.
Can it connect a VGA projector?
Not directly. A VGA projector needs the appropriate DP-to-VGA conversion, not a DVI-D connector.
