Gembird CC-HDMI4-20M · 20 m High Speed HDMI with Ethernet

20 mHigh Speed HDMI + EthernetHDMI A male ↔ maleBlack

The Gembird CC-HDMI4-20M is a 20 m passive High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet (HDMI 1.4 feature set) for connecting a PC, media player or camera to a projector or display on the other side of a room. Part number CC-HDMI4-20M has gold-plated HDMI Type A plugs on both ends and a black PVC jacket.

It carries 1080p and 4K (UHD 2160p at 30 Hz) video with 3D, ARC, CEC and the HDMI Ethernet Channel, plus lossless Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio, which suits conference rooms, classrooms and ceiling-mounted projectors.

Compatibility note: This is a passive High Speed (HDMI 1.4-class, about 10 Gbps) cable. Over 20 m it is intended for 1080p and 4K at 30 Hz, not for 4K60 HDR, 4K120 or eARC. For 4K60 over 20 m use an active optical cable instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Gembird CC-HDMI4-20M carry 4K at 60 Hz?
No. It is a High Speed HDMI 1.4-class cable, so at 20 m it is rated for 1080p and 4K at 30 Hz. 4K60 with HDR needs an 18 Gbps HDMI 2.0 link, which over 20 m is best done with an active optical cable.
Does the 20 m cable need power or a booster?
No. It is a passive copper cable with no electronics, so it works in either direction without a power supply. Very weak source outputs (some laptops or cameras) may need a shorter run or an active cable.
Singular Expert Insight
The CC-HDMI4-20M is a sensible budget link for projectors and meeting-room screens where 1080p is the target and the cable has to cross a room or ceiling. For modern 4K60 sources over the same distance, an HDMI 2.0 fibre cable such as the Equip 119439 (20 m) is the safer choice. Browse all options in HDMI Cables & Adapters.
✓ Buy it if you need a low-cost 20 m run for 1080p projectors, classroom or conference displays.
✕ Skip it if you need 4K60 HDR or 4K120 over 20 m.
→ Also consider Equip 119439 HDMI 2.0 AOC 20 m for 4K60, or Equip 119375 for a passive HDMI 2.0-labelled 20 m cable.
