GENIE Shredder Oil 400 ml, Plant-Based Cutter Lubricant in Resealable Dosing Bottle, for GENIE and Other Shredders

GENIE Shredder Oil 400 ml is a 400 ml plant-based oil for paper-shredder cutting units, in a resealable dosing bottle — matched to GENIE shredders and, per GENIE, also suitable for shredders of other brands.

Shredder cutters are hardened steel blades running against each other; paper dust and the friction of every pass slowly dry them out. Without oil, the motor works harder, the shredder gets louder and slower, and the rated sheet capacity drops until it starts to jam. A few minutes of oiling restores most of that and is the cheapest way to make a shredder last.

• 1 x GENIE shredder oil, 400 ml, resealable dosing bottle

• Empty the bin, apply the oil in wavy lines across a sheet of paper and feed it through.
• Then run the shredder in reverse for about 10 seconds so the oil spreads over the whole cutting width.
• GENIE gives no fixed interval: oil it according to use, and at the latest when the shredder gets louder or slower.
• Plant-based oil: nothing harmful ends up in the paper waste.
• 400 ml lasts a long time — each oiling uses only a few millilitres.
