The DIGITUS DN-95118 is an 8-port Gigabit PoE++ midspan injector that adds IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 power — up to 90 W per port over all four pairs, 250 W in total — to the links of a non-PoE switch, while staying backward compatible with 802.3af and 802.3at devices.

It suits high-power loads such as PTZ cameras with heaters, Wi-Fi 6E/7 access points, thin clients or digital signage. Connect the switch to the "Data in" ports and the devices to the matching "PoE out" ports; the AC power supply is built in.

Before you order: 250 W is the total for all 8 ports: you can run about two to three 90 W devices, or eight 30 W devices — not eight at 90 W. Data pass-through is Gigabit (10/100/1000), not multi-gig.

Yes. The injector is backward compatible and gives af/at devices the power they request.
