Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE-P ICE — white AM5 ATX with 5GbE and Wi-Fi 7
AMD B850 · Socket AM5PCIe 5.0 x16 + Gen5 M.25GbE · Wi-Fi 7ICE white design
The Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE-P ICE (part number B850 A ELITE-P ICE) is a white ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 on the B850 chipset, supporting Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 processors — aimed at white-themed gaming builds that want PCIe 5.0 and fast networking without an X870 price.
Four DDR5 slots take up to 256GB with EXPO/XMP kits up to 8200 MT/s (OC). The graphics slot runs PCIe 5.0 x16 with Ryzen 9000/7000, and four M.2 slots include one PCIe 5.0 x4 from the CPU plus three PCIe 4.0 x4.
Connectivity includes Realtek 5GbE, Realtek Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4, two 10 Gbps USB-C and two 10 Gbps USB-A on the rear, a 20 Gbps front USB-C header and ALC1220 audio with optical S/PDIF.
Compatibility note: Only one video output (HDMI 2.1) is provided for Ryzen integrated graphics, and there are just two SATA ports. The chipset PCIe x4 slot is disabled when the M2D_SB M.2 slot is used. Wi-Fi 7 requires Windows 11 (no Windows 10 driver).

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the B850 AORUS ELITE-P ICE good for a Ryzen 7 9800X3D?
Yes, B850 supports CPU overclocking and PBO, PCIe 5.0 graphics and Gen5 storage, which is everything an X3D gaming build needs; check the CPU support list for the recommended BIOS.
What is the difference between B850 and X870?
X870 boards add USB4 and more PCIe lanes, while B850 keeps PCIe 5.0 for the graphics card and one M.2 slot at a lower price.
Can I use four M.2 drives and the extra PCIe slot?
All four M.2 slots work, but the chipset PCIe x4 slot is disabled when M2D_SB is populated.
Does it support Windows 10?
Gigabyte lists Windows 11 64-bit only, and the Wi-Fi 7 module has no Windows 10 driver.
Singular Expert Insight
A strong-value white AM5 board: 5GbE, Wi-Fi 7, a Gen5 M.2 slot and four M.2 in total cover a high-end gaming build without X870 pricing. Only the single HDMI output and two SATA ports limit it — irrelevant for most GPU-based systems. Pair it with a white DDR5 kit from our
DDR5 memory range.
✓ Buy it if you are building a white-themed Ryzen gaming PC and want PCIe 5.0, 5GbE and Wi-Fi 7 at B850 pricing.
✕ Skip it if you need USB4, many SATA drives or multiple display outputs from integrated graphics.
