Gigabyte GS32QA 31.5" QHD 180Hz SS IPS Gaming Monitor

A 32" Super Speed IPS gaming monitor with QHD resolution, 180Hz refresh, 1ms response, HDR Ready and AMD FreeSync Premium — high-frame-rate immersion for action, shooters and racing.
QHD 2560x1440 @ 180HzSS IPS · 1ms (GtG)FreeSync Premium · HDR Ready2x HDMI · DisplayPort · Black Equalizer
The Gigabyte GS32QA is a 31.5" QHD gaming monitor built around a Super Speed IPS panel running 2560x1440 at 180Hz with a 1ms GtG response time. AMD FreeSync Premium pairs with a wide adaptive-sync range to keep motion tear-free and frame pacing tight, while Gigabyte gaming features such as Black Equalizer, Aim Stabilizer and OSD Sidekick give you a tactical edge in shooters, MOBAs and battle royales. HDR support adds brighter highlights to compatible content, and the 178°/178° viewing angles keep colours consistent for co-op or shared screen time.
Best For
✓ Fast-paced FPS / battle royale
✓ Racing & sim games
✓ MOBA & action RPGs

✓ Console + PC dual-source setups
✓ Streaming & content review

Key Features

180Hz QHD on Super Speed IPS
2560x1440 native resolution at 180Hz refresh on a 31.5" SS IPS panel — sharper detail than Full HD with the high frame-rate fluidity competitive gaming demands.

1ms GtG response + FreeSync Premium
SS IPS technology hits a 1ms (GtG) response time with AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive sync — minimised ghosting, tearing and stutter from low to high frame rates.

HDR Ready + Black Equalizer
HDR support brightens highlights in compatible content. Black Equalizer brings out detail in dark scenes so enemies hiding in shadows stay visible without affecting bright areas.

OSD Sidekick + Game Assist
Adjust monitor settings via keyboard and mouse with OSD Sidekick. Game Assist adds on-screen timers, customisable crosshairs and Aim Stabilizer for motion clarity during quick scopes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the GS32QA support 180Hz over HDMI?
For guaranteed 180Hz at QHD with FreeSync Premium, use the DisplayPort input. HDMI on the GS32QA caps below the DP refresh rate on most systems — use DP for full performance, HDMI for consoles or secondary sources.
Is FreeSync Premium compatible with NVIDIA GPUs?
Yes. NVIDIA RTX and GTX 10-series and newer GPUs support adaptive sync over DisplayPort with G-SYNC Compatible mode, which works with FreeSync Premium monitors like the GS32QA.
Does it have built-in speakers?
No. The GS32QA does not include speakers — it has a 3.5 mm headphone out so you can route audio to headphones or external speakers from the monitor.
Is the stand height-adjustable?
No. The included stand offers tilt adjustment (-5° to +20°) only. The panel is 100x100 mm VESA-mountable, so a third-party arm can add full ergonomics if needed.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose the GS32QA if you want a 32" QHD 180Hz IPS gaming display at an attractive price and you do not need built-in speakers or a fully-ergonomic stand. If you prefer immersive curved gaming, look at the GS32QC. For competitive esports at higher refresh rates, a 27" 240Hz QHD model (e.g. M27Q X) is the better pick.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if
You want a 32" QHD 180Hz IPS gaming display with 1ms response and FreeSync Premium for fluid action across genres.
Skip it if
You need a height-adjustable stand, built-in speakers, certified DisplayHDR 600/1000, or 240Hz+ for top-tier competitive shooters.
Also consider
Gigabyte GS32QC (curved 32" QHD) or Gigabyte M27Q X if you want 27" QHD with 240Hz and built-in KVM.
