Gigaset N670 IP PRO — single-cell DECT IP base station with built-in DECT Manager
Up to 20 handsets8 parallel callsPoE 802.3afG.722 HD voice
The Gigaset N670 IP PRO is a professional single-cell DECT IP base station for small offices, shops and practices. It connects cordless Gigaset PRO handsets to your SIP PBX or provider, with up to 20 handsets and SIP accounts and up to 8 parallel calls (5 with G.722 HD voice).
Integrator, DECT Manager and base station are built in, so one N670 is a complete system; up to three N670 can work together as a mini-multicell (one plus two in base-only role) within the same 20-handset limit, and the platform can be upgraded into an N870 multicell system with a Gigaset licence.
Before you order: The N670 is a single-cell system (up to 3 bases in mini-multicell, 20 handsets maximum). Gigaset repeaters such as the Repeater HX cannot connect to the N670. No power supply is included — use a PoE 802.3af switch or the optional Gigaset adapter.
What's in the Box
- Gigaset N670 IP PRO base station
- Screws and wall plugs for wall mounting

What It Means in Practice
- Give up to 20 staff a cordless extension on the existing SIP PBX.
- Mount it centrally on a wall and power it over the network cable.
- Add up to two more N670 in base-only role for a larger single site without changing the management model.
- Encrypted calls: DECT STEP B security, TLS 1.3, SRTP and SIPS.
What Will Not Work
- More than 20 handsets — move to the N870 IP PRO multicell.
- DECT repeaters (Repeater HX etc.) — not supported on N670.
- N720 DM PRO or N720 IP PRO bases — different platform.
- Handsets are not included.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The N670 is the simplest route to professional DECT on a SIP PBX: one PoE device, up to 20 users. If you expect to grow beyond that, plan for the N870 platform from the start. Power it from a
PoE switch to avoid a separate adapter.
✓ Buy it if you need up to 20 cordless extensions on a SIP PBX at one site.
✕ Skip it if you need more than 20 handsets or repeater-based coverage extension.
→ Also consider the Gigaset N870 IP PRO for larger multicell sites.
