The Good Connections DP20-005 is a 0.5 m DisplayPort 2.0 cable rated for UHBR13.5 (54 Gbps), made for short, high-bandwidth links between a current graphics card or dock and an 8K or very high-refresh 4K monitor.

It supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 240 Hz in full 4:4:4 colour without compression, uses triple-shielded AWG 30 copper with latching plugs, and leaves pin 20 unconnected to avoid back-powering issues.

Compatibility note: DisplayPort 2.0 speeds (UHBR13.5) are only reached when both the graphics card and the monitor support DP 2.0/2.1; with DP 1.4 devices the cable simply runs at DP 1.4 speed. At 0.5 m it is meant for desk-side or rack-internal connections.

Yes. DisplayPort is backwards compatible, so the cable works with DP 1.2 and DP 1.4 devices at their own maximum speed. You only gain the extra 54 Gbps bandwidth when both ends are DisplayPort 2.0/2.1.
What is the difference between DP20-005 and DP20-015 or DP20-020?
They share the same DisplayPort 2.0 UHBR13.5 specification; only the length changes (0.5 m, 1.5 m and 2 m). Pick the 0.5 m DP20-005 for tight installations, and a longer version when the monitor is further from the PC.
