Good Connections P1450-S010 Hot-Condition Cable — C14 to C15, 1 m
1 mC14 plug → C15 socketH05V2V2-F10 A / 250 V
The Good Connections P1450-S010 is a 1 m black connection cable with a straight IEC C14 plug and a straight IEC C15 hot-condition socket, for powering appliances with a C16 (hot-condition) inlet from a C13 outlet such as a PDU, UPS or power distribution unit.
It uses heat-resistant H05V2V2-F 3G 0.75 mm² cable with PVC jacket, rated 10 A / 250 V. The C15 socket has the notch that matches C16 inlets; it also fits standard C14 inlets. Good Connections lists warming plates, table grills, raclettes, waffle irons and fondue sets as typical appliances.
Before you order: The C14 end plugs into a C13 outlet (PDU, UPS or C13 power strip) — not into a wall socket. For an appliance that plugs into the wall, you need a cord with a Schuko or UK plug on the other end.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Good Connections C14-to-C15 cable, 1 m, black
What It Means in Practice
- Connects hot-condition (C16 inlet) equipment to a C13 outlet on a PDU or UPS.
- H05V2V2-F is the heat-resistant cable type intended for hot-condition connectors.
- The C15 socket also fits normal C14 inlets, so it can replace a C13 lead.
- 1 m length for short, tidy connections.
What Will Not Work
- Wall sockets — both ends are IEC connectors.
- C19/C20 high-current inlets (16 A server PSUs).
- A C13 cord in a C16 inlet — C13 has no notch; use this C15 cable instead.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between C13 and C15?
C15 has a notch under the earth contact so it fits C16 hot-condition inlets; a C13 does not. C15 fits C14 inlets too.
Can I plug the C14 end into a wall socket?
No. It goes into a C13 outlet on a PDU, UPS or IEC power strip.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Hot-condition C15/C16 connectors exist so that heat-producing appliances only accept heat-rated cords. In racks, connect them from a
rack PDU with C13 outlets using this cable.
✓ Buy it if you need to connect a C16-inlet appliance to a C13 outlet on a PDU or UPS.
✕ Skip it if you need to plug into a wall socket or a 16 A C19/C20 inlet.
→ Also consider a C14-to-C13 extension cable for standard C14 equipment.
