The Good Connections 8060-005R is a 0.5 m Cat 6 S/FTP PiMF patch cable in red, rated to 250 MHz, with AWG 27 conductors, a 6.0 mm PVC jacket and RNS latch-guard boots — a short shielded cord for connecting patch panels, switches and servers.
PiMF (pairs in metal foil) wraps each pair in its own foil under an overall braid, which keeps crosstalk and outside interference low even in crowded racks. The RNS (Rastnasenschutz) moulding protects the RJ45 latch from snagging and breaking when cords are pulled through a panel. Part number 8060-005R, EAN 4014619045129. This is a Cat 6 cord (250 MHz): ideal for Gigabit Ethernet and short 10GBASE-T links, but for guaranteed 10 Gbit/s at full channel length choose a Cat 6A cord. The jacket is PVC, not halogen-free — if your site specifies LSZH/LSOH cabling (public buildings, data centres), pick the halogen-free Good Connections H-series instead. Being shielded, it works best with shielded panels and earthed switch ports; in an unshielded system it simply behaves like a well-screened cord.
