The Good Connections 2710-MB02 is a 2 m USB 3.0 cable with a USB-A plug on one end and a USB 3.0 Micro-B plug on the other, running at up to 5 Gbit/s for external hard drives, SSD enclosures and cameras with the wide Micro-B socket. It uses 99.9% oxygen-free copper with braid and foil shielding, and the extra length reaches a desktop tower under the desk.

Compatibility note: The USB 3.0 Micro-B plug is the wide, two-part connector used on external drives. It also fits a standard (narrow) Micro-USB socket, but only at USB 2.0 speed.

Yes. The USB-A plug fits any USB-A port and the drive will work at USB 2.0 speed (480 Mbit/s). Plug it into a USB 3.0 (blue or SS-marked) port to get the full 5 Gbit/s.
What is the difference between the 2710-MB02 and the 2710-MB002?
Only the length. The 2710-MB02 is 2.0 m for reaching a tower PC or a shelf; the 2710-MB002 is a 0.2 m version for a drive sitting right next to a laptop or hub.
