Before you buy — compatibility
This dock accepts M.2 PCIe NVMe (M-Key) SSDs only — it does not support M.2 SATA drives. The SSD is sold separately; no drive is included. All standard M.2 lengths fit (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110). Full 40Gbps speed needs a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD and a USB4 or Thunderbolt 4/3 host; on slower ports it falls back to USB 3.2 / 3.1 / 3.0 speeds.
