The HERMA 5045 Neon Labels are A4 sheets of luminous red paper labels, each 63.5 x 29.6 mm and 27 to a sheet, made for labelling that has to be noticed - price reductions, special offers, warnings and express notices. They print on standard laser printers, inkjet printers and copiers, in black-and-white or colour.

With 540 labels in the pack and a compact 27-up format, this is the size for price and offer stickers, "urgent" flags on parcels and folders, or colour-coding items on a shelf. The adhesive is permanent, so these are for labels that are meant to stay where you put them.

• The all-round protective edge keeps the sheet flat as it goes through the printer, which matters with small labels and inkjet printing.
• Permanent adhesive: once applied, expect the label to tear or leave residue if you try to remove it.

• Printing white or very pale colours - the label itself is coloured and office printers cannot print white, so light text simply disappears.
• Temporary marking you want to peel off later - the adhesive is permanent; for removable labelling choose a HERMA movable label such as 10015.
• Thermal or roll label printers (Dymo, Brother QL, Zebra) - these are A4 sheets for office laser and inkjet printers.
• Outdoor or wet locations - HERMA states no weather or water resistance for this paper label.
