The HERMA 4220 is a pack of 25 A4 sheets of silver, matt polyester rating plate labels, 25.4 x 10 mm with rounded corners — 4,725 weatherproof, tear-resistant labels with extremely strong adhesion, printed on a black-and-white laser printer or copier.

At 25.4 x 10 mm the label holds a short serial number, an asset tag or a small 2D code on compact components and tools — 189 of them on every sheet.

• Polyester film instead of paper: HERMA rates it weatherproof, UV and ageing resistant, oil and dirt-repellent, tear-resistant and wipeable with a damp cloth.
• Service temperature -40 °C to +150 °C, so the label stays readable on equipment that runs warm or sits outdoors.
• The extremely strong adhesive holds even on rough or critical surfaces where paper labels lift.
• You print your own serial numbers, asset tags and type plates in-house instead of ordering engraved metal plates.
• Typical uses at this size: small components, tools, cables and connectors, compact devices, inventory tags.

• Inkjet printers, colour laser printers and colour copiers — HERMA excludes them for this film. Use a black-and-white laser or copier.
• Not removable: once applied, the label is meant to stay — it is not designed to come off cleanly.
• Engraved or anodised metal plates for legal machine marking are a different product; this is a printed film label.
• Thermal-transfer label printers and roll label printers cannot use A4 sheets.
