The HERMA 5071 Slide Labels are A4 sheets of white 43.2 x 8.5 mm labels with permanent adhesive — 3200 labels on 25 sheets — for labelling slide frames and small media cases with ordinary laser, inkjet and copier printers.
The slim 43.2 x 8.5 mm format fits slide frames and small media cases, with 128 labels on every sheet.

What It Means in Practice
- Each sheet gives you 128 identical labels of 43.2 x 8.5 mm; plan text so it fits comfortably inside the label with a few millimetres of margin.
- Print from Word or any label program by choosing the HERMA 5071 template — the template sets the exact label pitch so text lands on the labels, not across the gaps.
- Permanent adhesive is meant to stay put: once applied, the label is not designed to be peeled off and repositioned.
- The labels are made for plain office printing — black or colour from laser, inkjet or copier.
What Will Not Work
- Not for label printers that use rolls (Brother QL/P-touch, Dymo, Zebra, Epson ColorWorks) — these are A4 sheets for normal office printers.
- Templates for another brand or another HERMA article with a different layout will misalign — always select the HERMA 5071 template.
- Paper labels with a matt surface are not designed for outdoor, wet or freezer use; for that you need film labels.
- Not for labels you plan to remove later — choose a removable (Movables) HERMA label for that.
- Do not re-feed a partly used sheet through a laser printer; the exposed backing can lift labels inside the fuser. Print full sheets, or use the template to print only the positions you need on a fresh sheet.
- At 43.2 x 8.5 mm the label is very small — use 6–8 pt text; it is not suited to addresses or barcodes with a quiet zone.
