HERMA PREMIUM labels 4608 are white, matt paper labels measuring 48.3 x 25.4 mm, supplied 44 to an A4 sheet on 200 sheets (8,800 labels), for offices that print small product, barcode and stock labels on an ordinary laser printer, inkjet printer or copier.
PREMIUM is HERMA's top office-label line: the labels sit on a special laminate with a protective edge so sheets stay flat through the printer, HERMA states the sheets are guaranteed not to jam (tested by TÜV SÜD), and the permanent adhesive is designed to grip fast even on cool or slightly damp surfaces. 44 labels per sheet and 200 sheets make it a bulk pack; HERMA also describes the sheets as high-speed capable and perfectly flat-lying.
What's in the Box
- 200 A4 sheets, 44 labels per sheet — 8,800 labels in total
- Labels are pre-cut (square corners); nothing else is included — no software, template disk or printer accessories
- Layouts are set up in your word processor or label software using the 48.3 x 25.4 mm, 44-up A4 grid
What It Means in Practice
- 44 small labels per A4 sheet — suited to an article number, a short name or a small barcode.
- 8,800 labels per box for continuous product, stock or inventory labelling.
- Set the layout to 48.3 x 25.4 mm, 44-up on A4 in Word or your label software.
- Permanent adhesion on boxes, bins, folders and packaging.
What Will Not Work
- Thermal label printers (Dymo, Brother QL/PT, Zebra and similar) — these HERMA labels are A4 sheets for office printers, not rolls or tapes.
- Removing and re-sticking — the adhesive is permanent; if you need labels that peel off cleanly later, choose a removable HERMA version instead.
- Outdoor or wet use — they are paper labels; HERMA does not rate them as weatherproof or waterproof.
Key Features
Guaranteed not to jam
HERMA states the PREMIUM sheets are guaranteed not to jam, with trouble-free printing on laser and inkjet printers confirmed by TÜV SÜD.
Fast, secure adhesion
The permanent adhesive is designed to grip quickly and securely, HERMA says even on cool and damp surfaces.
High-white matt surface
Extremely high whiteness gives sharp, high-contrast print-outs of text, logos and barcodes.
Laminate with protective edge
A special laminate construction with all-round protective edge keeps the sheet flat and the label edges clean in the printer.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
PREMIUM is the HERMA line to choose when labels go through the printer often or in large runs: the jam-free guarantee and flat-lying laminate are what separate it from cheaper office labels. 48.3 x 25.4 mm is a common inventory and barcode size, and the 8,800-label pack suits warehouses and shops that relabel stock continuously. Browse the rest of our HERMA and other office labels if you need a different size, colour or a removable adhesive.
✓ Buy it if you print small barcode or product labels in large volumes on a laser or inkjet printer.
✕ Skip it if your template is 52.5 x 29.7 mm (choose 4610), you need removable labels, or you use a thermal label printer.
→ Also consider HERMA PREMIUM 4610 (52.5 x 29.7 mm, 40 per sheet) or the smaller 4336 (35.6 x 16.9 mm, 80 per sheet).
Not sure which size fits your job? Tell us the printer model and what you are labelling (envelopes, folders, boxes, shelves) and we will check the right HERMA format before you order.
