HERMA elasticated folder A3 — horses motif, for drawings and artwork
A3Cardboard3 inner flapsElastic closure
The HERMA elasticated folder A3 cardboard horses (art. 19217) is a sturdy printed cardboard folder in A3 format with elastic corner straps and three inner flaps, made for collecting and carrying children's drawings, art projects, posters and loose A3 or smaller sheets.
The colourful horses print makes it easy for children to recognise their own folder in class, while the three flaps and the elastic straps keep sheets from sliding out on the way to and from school. HERMA states a fill height of about 3 cm.
Before you order: Cardboard folders are not water-resistant. For outdoor or wet use HERMA offers a polypropylene version (7145).
What's in the Box
- 1 × HERMA elasticated folder A3, cardboard, horses motif
What It Means in Practice
- A3 takes full-size drawing-block sheets, so artwork does not need to be folded.
- Three inner flaps fold over the contents before the elastic straps close the folder.
- A fill height of about 3 cm holds a full term of drawings or a stack of loose worksheets.
- Smaller formats (A4, A5) stay inside too, held by the flaps.
What Will Not Work
- Sheets larger than A3, such as A2 posters or flip-chart paper.
- Rain or spills — cardboard absorbs water; choose the PP version for that.
- Filing in ring binders — it has no punching or rings.
- Stacks thicker than about 3 cm.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
An A3 folder is what most school art projects actually need: drawings stay flat instead of being folded into an A4 bag. HERMA's cardboard version adds three flaps and elastic straps, which is what keeps work intact on the way home. More school and office items in our stationery range.
✓ Buy it if your child brings home A3 drawings and you want them flat and protected.
✕ Skip it if the folder will be used outdoors or in the rain — choose the PP version.
→ Also consider HERMA A4 elasticated folders for worksheets and smaller formats.
