HP Q8692A is HP Advanced Photo Paper in glossy finish: 100 sheets of 10 x 15 cm (101 x 152 mm), 250 g/m² photo paper for HP inkjet printers. Printed with Original HP ink and displayed under glass, HP states the prints resist fading for generations.
Advanced is HP's middle grade - heavier than Everyday (200 g/m²) and less expensive than Premium Plus (300 g/m²). It is the paper for photos you want to keep in an album or frame, in the standard 10 x 15 cm photo size.

What It Means in Practice
- Select a glossy photo paper setting in the HP driver or HP Smart app for the right colour profile.
- 250 g/m² is noticeably stiffer than 200 g/m² Everyday paper and stays flat in an album or frame.
- 100 sheets per pack - a good quantity for event, holiday or product photo runs.
What Will Not Work
- Laser printers and copiers - HP photo paper is coated for inkjet ink and can be damaged by the heat of a laser printer.
- Non-HP ink results - HP's fade-resistance claims refer to Original HP inks; refilled or third-party ink gives no such assurance.
- A4 or larger prints - for A4 choose HP Q5456A in the same paper.
