Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM21(Black) — Junction Box for Dome Cameras
Dome camerasAluminium alloy4.5 kg loadblack
The Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM21(Black) is a junction box for dome cameras: a round aluminium-alloy base that mounts on the wall or ceiling and sits between the surface and the camera. It hides the cable connections and any surplus cable inside the box instead of leaving them on the wall, and lifts the camera slightly off the surface. It measures Ø137 × 42 mm, weighs 280 g and carries up to 4.5 kg. Cables can leave through a side outlet or a bottom outlet, with an interchangeable bottom waterproof cover and a side gland nut. In practice it gives a camera installation a clean, finished look and protects the connectors, especially where the cable comes along the surface rather than out of the wall.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the camera model before you order. This box is made for dome cameras; bullet cameras use the DS-1260ZJ series. Hikvision does not list compatible camera models on the product page or datasheet, and the screw pattern of the camera must match the box. This is the black version; the white one is the DS-1280ZJ-DM21. Outdoors, Hikvision states that waterproof rubber is needed, and the wall must hold at least three times the weight of camera and mount. Send us your camera model and we confirm the fit.

We fit a junction box to most wall-mounted cameras we install: it protects the connections and looks far tidier. Just confirm the camera model with us first. See our IP cameras or more networking accessories.
