Hikvision DS-7604NXI-K1/4P(D) — 4-Channel PoE AcuSense 4K NVR

4 channelsAcuSense AI4 PoE ports4K HDMI

The Hikvision DS-7604NXI-K1/4P(D) is a 4-channel K Series AcuSense network video recorder in a slim 1U-height desktop case. It records up to 4 IP cameras at resolutions up to 12 MP on one SATA hard-drive bay of up to 16 TB each, and shows live view and playback on a 4K HDMI or a VGA monitor. AcuSense analysis in the recorder separates people and vehicles from other motion on 1 camera channel at 4 MP, which cuts false alarms from leaves, animals or rain, and face detection and face-picture comparison are built in. Four PoE ports power the cameras directly, 50 W in total, so a small system needs only one cable to each camera. In practice it is a compact, cost-conscious recorder for shops, offices and homes that want smarter alerts on the Hik-Connect app.

Compatibility — check before buying:
No hard drive is part of this article — add a 3.5″ SATA surveillance drive of up to 16 TB each. Cameras: Hikvision IP cameras and ONVIF (Profile S/G) cameras; analog and HD-analog cameras do not work. PoE: 50 W is shared by the four ports, so a PTZ or strong IR camera may need its own power. Bandwidth: 40 Mbps incoming in total. The advanced AI features work fully with Hikvision AcuSense cameras; with other cameras the recorder’s own analysis covers 1 channel. Do not confuse it with the DS-7604NXI-K1(D), the same recorder without PoE. Tell us your cameras and we check the fit.

Best For

✓ Small shops and offices
✓ Homes and villas

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a hard drive included?
No. Fit one 3.5″ SATA surveillance drive of up to 16 TB each. We can supply and fit a suitable drive and set up the recorder.
Which cameras work with it?
Hikvision IP cameras, and other IP cameras that support ONVIF. AcuSense cameras unlock the full set of AI features. Analog and HD-analog cameras need a DVR instead.
What is the difference to the K1(D)?
The K1/4P(D) has four PoE ports with 50 W in total and runs on a 48 V adapter, so cameras plug straight into it. The DS-7604NXI-K1(D) has no PoE ports.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes, through the Hik-Connect app or a web browser, once the recorder is connected to the internet. We can help with the first setup.
Singular Expert Insight
We suggest the DS-7604NXI-K1/4P(D) for a new four-camera system: one cable from each camera to the recorder carries power and video, and AcuSense keeps alerts to people and vehicles. Choose the cameras from our IP cameras, and add a surveillance hard drive.
