Hikvision DS-2CD2346G2H-IU 4MP DarkFighter Turret (2.8 mm)

F1.0 DarkFighterColour 0.001 luxBuilt-in micIP67 metal

The Hikvision DS-2CD2346G2H-IU is a 4-megapixel turret built for poor light. Its 2.8 mm F1.0 lens and DarkFighter processing keep colour down to 0.001 lux, so dimly lit car parks, alleys and yards stay in colour longer before the 30 m IR takes over. It records 2688 x 1520 with 120 dB WDR across a 100.2° view, adds a built-in microphone and human/vehicle perimeter alerts, and comes in an IP67 metal housing powered by PoE or 12 V DC.

Compatibility — check before buying:
In the box: DS-2CD2346G2H-IU camera (Hikvision lists a Quick Start Guide; no other contents published). Not in the box: PoE switch or injector, 12 V adapter, network cable, microSD card, optional brackets. Mic only: it records sound but has no speaker. Near-focus limit: Hikvision gives a depth of field from 1.9 m to infinity on the 2.8 mm lens, so subjects closer than about 2 m may be soft. Recorder: it speaks ONVIF and ISAPI, so it works with Hikvision NVRs and most third-party recorders; tell us your model and we confirm. Not sure it fits your setup? Tell us your switch, recorder or software and we check it for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the recordings stored?
On a microSD card in the camera (up to 512 GB, card not included), on a NAS, or on a network video recorder. It supports ONVIF, so most NVRs and VMS platforms can record it, and it works with Hikvision’s Hik-Connect app and iVMS-4200. For 24/7 recording to an NVR use surveillance hard drives; for in-camera recording pick a high-endurance card from our microSD cards.
What does DarkFighter change?
A brighter F1.0 lens and low-light processing keep the image in colour down to 0.001 lux, where standard F1.6 cameras switch to black-and-white IR earlier. That means clothing and car colours stay visible longer at night.
How is it powered?
From an 802.3af PoE port (max. 9 W) or a 12 V DC, 0.6 A adapter. Neither is included; see our PoE switches.
Can I talk through it?
No. It has a built-in microphone but no speaker. For talk-back and deterrence look at the DS-2CD2346G2P-ISU/SL with speaker and strobe light.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose the DS-2CD2346G2H-IU when the scene is dark but lit by street lamps: DarkFighter keeps colour where the DS-2CD2343G2-IU would switch to IR. For a 180° view with active deterrence, the DS-2CD2346G2P-ISU/SL is the step up. Browse IP cameras and our PoE switches.
