The Honeywell PM45c (PM45CA1000000200) is a compact 4-inch industrial thermal transfer label printer for back rooms, retail distribution, healthcare and light manufacturing where an industrial printer is needed but space is tight.

It brings PM45 print speed and durability — 203 dpi up to 108 mm wide and 350 mm per second — into a narrower, lower body with a long media door, a full colour touch display, a tear bar, and USB, Ethernet, serial and a USB host port built in. ZSim2 (ZPL II) and DPL emulations let it replace Zebra or Datamax printers without rewriting label formats.

Before you order: The long-door PM45c takes media rolls up to 152 mm and ribbons up to 229 m — smaller than the full PM45 (213 mm / 450 m). Labels and ribbon are not included.

  • Drop-in replacement: Honeywell Fingerprint, Direct Protocol and IPL plus ZSim2 (ZPL II) and DPL emulation run existing Intermec, Zebra and Datamax label formats; XML and PDF printing are also supported.
  • Media: labels and tags 19–114 mm wide and 0.08–0.26 mm thick, roll-fed or fan-fold, rolls up to 152 mm on 38–76 mm cores, and wax, wax/resin or resin ribbons up to 229 m.
  • Touch operation: the full colour touch display makes setup, calibration and troubleshooting quicker for staff who are not printer specialists.
  • Connectivity: 10/100 Ethernet, USB 2.0 device, a USB host port and RS-232 are standard.

What Will Not Work

  • Cutting, peeling or rewinding: labels are torn off by hand. A cutter kit and other options are sold separately.
  • Wi-Fi or Bluetooth: not included in this configuration; WLAN and Bluetooth are optional interfaces.
  • Very large rolls: with the long door, rolls are limited to 152 mm and ribbons to 229 m; for 213 mm rolls and 450 m ribbons choose the full-size PM45.
  • Wide labels: maximum print width is 108 mm.
