1D Laser vs. 2D Imager: The Voyager 1202g is 1D only and ideal for standard product barcodes (EAN-13, Code 128, UPC-A). If your workflow includes QR codes on customer phones, 2D GS1 DataMatrix on pharmaceuticals, or loyalty app codes, you need a 2D imager instead.
Battery Strategy: The tool-free replaceable battery is a significant operational advantage — keep a spare charged and swap in seconds for continuous scanning across shifts without waiting for a 4.5-hour recharge.
