The black Honeywell Xenon XP 1952GHD-2USB-5-R is a cordless 1D/2D scanner kit with High Density optics for small barcode details at suitable working distances. The package includes the scanner, a presentation charging/communication base, a straight 3 m USB cable and a 2400 mAh battery. Connect the base to a compatible USB host and receiving application; the scanner communicates wirelessly with the base. This is a battery-powered kit, not the 1952g battery-free model.

Before you order:
HD is a focus option, not a promise of longer distance than SR. Use the HD ranges below and test your labels. The USB cable joins the base to the host; it does not give the handheld scanner a 3 m working-radius limit. Published radio and battery figures depend on settings and operating conditions.

  • 1 × black Xenon XP 1952g HD scanner.

What It Means in Practice

  • Connect and configure the presentation base for the USB host, pair the scanner as instructed, open the receiving field in the POS or inventory application and scan.
  • For example, read a small product label by hand, then return the scanner to the presentation base between tasks. The host software handles product lookup, prices and stock updates.
  • A screen barcode must be supported by both scanner configuration and receiving application. OCR, postal, DOT Code and Digimarc support are configuration dependent; do not assume every workflow is enabled out of the box.

What Will Not Work

  • No standalone inventory or POS application is included. A compatible receiving host and software are required.
  • This is HD, not SR, UD, UV or a verified disinfectant-ready configuration. Do not apply those variants’ specialist capabilities to this SKU.
