HP 653 Black Original Ink Advantage Cartridge, 6 ml Pigment, ~360 Pages, for DeskJet Ink Advantage 2875, 6075, 6475

The HP 653 Black (3YM75AE) is an original HP ink cartridge with 6 ml of pigment-based black ink, rated at ~360 pages (ISO/IEC 24711 or HP test method), for HP DeskJet Ink Advantage and DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage printers that take HP 653 cartridges.

Ink Advantage is HP’s lower-cost cartridge line for DeskJet Ink Advantage printers. The printhead is built into the cartridge, so a new cartridge also renews the nozzles. It pairs with the HP 653 Tri-color cartridge in the same printers.

• 1 × HP 653 Black original ink cartridge (3YM75AE), 6 ml
• Factory-sealed HP blister pack
• Protective tape over the nozzles — remove before installing

• ~360 pages is the ISO yield for standard text pages — about twice the HP 305 standard black
• Pigment black gives crisp text that resists smudging on plain paper
• The printhead is in the cartridge, so faded or streaky black usually clears with a new one
• Install with the contacts facing the printer and push until it clicks; the printer aligns automatically
• Keep the spare sealed until use — an opened cartridge left outside the printer dries out

• Not for DeskJet printers that use HP 305, HP 303, HP 304 or HP 308
• Not the colour cartridge — colour is HP 653 Tri-color (3YM74AE)
• Not for HP Smart Tank or Ink Tank printers, which use ink bottles
• Refilled cartridges or non-HP chips may be rejected by the printer
