HP 730 DesignJet Ink Cartridge 300 ml Gray, Dye-based, Original HP, for DesignJet T940, T1600, T1700, T2600, SD Pro 2

The HP 730 300-ml Gray DesignJet Ink Cartridge is an original HP dye-based cartridge holding 300 ml of gray ink for the HP DesignJet T940, T1600 / T1600dr, T1700 / T1700dr, T2600 / T2600dr MFP (incl. PostScript models) and SD Pro 2 MFP. It is aimed at AEC, GIS and in-house print rooms running a T1600/T1700/T2600-class printer at volume, where the 300 ml size means fewer swaps mid-job.

These printers use six HP 730 inks — matte black, photo black, gray, cyan, magenta and yellow — and each cartridge is replaced individually.

• Gray is used for smoother neutral tones and greyscale gradients, reducing graininess in mid-tones and monochrome images.
• The 300 ml size is the high-capacity option: fewer cartridge changes and fewer interrupted long jobs than the smaller sizes.
• The printer tracks ink level per cartridge, so you replace only this colour when the printer reports it low.
• Keep the cartridge sealed until you install it and store it at room temperature; the HP supplies warranty runs to the Warranty Ends date shown on the cartridge.
