The HP Business PC Security Lock v3 Kit (3XJ17AA) secures an HP small form factor or tower business desktop, its monitor and the attached cables with a single keyed lock, so offices, schools and public counters can deter theft of the whole workstation and discourage opening the chassis. The cable runs through the PC lock slot and the display, then anchors to the desk or a fixed surface.
This is a desktop kit. Although listed under laptop accessories, it is not designed for notebooks.
Before you order: Designed for HP business desktops (SFF and tower). Laptops and HP mini / micro PCs are not in HP's compatibility list; check your model before ordering.
