The HP OneLam 270 A4 is a hot pouch laminator with a 230 mm entry for 80 to 125 micron pouches from credit-card size up to A4, running at 270 mm per minute — a straightforward unit for home offices, reception desks and classrooms.

It is produced under official HP licence and keeps things simple: one switch, a fixed laminating temperature that suits the whole pouch range, two transport rollers and a jam-release lever that unlocks the rollers if a pouch goes in crooked.

• Warm-up takes under 4 minutes; an A4 pouch then passes in a little over a minute at 270 mm/min.
• The temperature is fixed at around 120 °C for all pouch thicknesses, so there is nothing to set — just feed 80, 100 or 125 micron pouches sealed edge first.
• If a pouch jams, the jam-release (ABS) lever unlocks the rollers so you can pull it out.
• There is no auto standby or auto shut-off, so remember to switch it off when finished.

• No cold lamination — self-adhesive cold pouches and heat-sensitive thermal paper are not suitable.
• No A3: anything wider than 230 mm will not fit.
• Pouches thinner than 80 or thicker than 125 micron are outside the published range.
• No adjustable temperature and no auto shut-off.
