HP Poly Mission 625 Stereo USB Wired Headset

A stereo USB headset for busy offices, with a busy light that tells colleagues you are on a call.
Stereo2-mic AI noise reductionUSB-C + USB-ATeams button
The HP Poly Mission 625 Stereo USB Wired Headset (part number C01C6AA#AC3) is a wired two-ear headset for Microsoft Teams, Zoom and softphone calls, with 2-microphone AI noise reduction and super wideband audio. It plugs in with a 2 m USB-C cable and ships with a USB-C to USB-A adapter, so it works with new and older laptops and desktops.
Compatibility Note: This is a wired USB headset with no 3.5 mm jack and no Bluetooth, so it will not plug into a desk phone or connect wirelessly to a mobile phone.

Key Features

2-microphone AI noise reduction
The boom microphone uses AI noise reduction to filter keyboards, voices and background sound, so the other side hears your voice rather than the office. More microphones mean better voice pickup in louder rooms. The 130 mm boom rotates 285° to wear on either side.

Super wideband audio
32 mm speakers cover 20 Hz–20 kHz and the microphone 50 Hz–16 kHz, so voices sound natural on calls and music or training videos sound full. SoundGuard Digital limits sudden loud spikes.

Busy light
A 360° red busy light on both earcups shows colleagues you are on a call, cutting interruptions in shared spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the HP Poly Mission 625 work with a USB-A only PC?
Yes. The headset has a USB-C plug and HP includes a USB-C to USB-A adapter in the box, so it works with USB-A ports on older desktops and docks as well as USB-C laptops.
What is the difference between the Mission 625 and its siblings?
The 600 series adds a second microphone, busy lights and a carrying case over the Mission 400 series. The 800 series adds active noise cancelling and 3–4 microphones. The 615 is one-ear, the 625 two-ear.
Can I use it with a mobile phone?
Yes, with a USB-C phone or tablet (Android or iOS with USB-C). HP lists Android and iOS as compatible. For wireless use with a phone, choose a Bluetooth headset instead.
Singular Expert Insight
The Mission 625 is a sensible mid-range pick for teams standardising on Microsoft Teams: plug-and-play USB, a Teams button and HP Poly Studio management. The Mission 425 costs less if you do not need busy lights or two microphones; the Mission 825 adds active noise cancelling for very loud floors.
✓ Buy it if you share an office and want colleagues to see when you are on a call, with two microphones for clearer pickup.
✕ Skip it if you need wireless freedom or a headset for a desk phone (no Bluetooth, no 3.5 mm or QD).
→ Also consider Mission 825 with ANC for louder floors.
