The HPE Aruba Networking 2930 2-port Stacking Module (JL325A) installs in the module slot at the back of an Aruba 2930M switch and connects it to up to nine others, so up to ten switches work and are managed as one. Stacks are cabled in a ring, which keeps the stack running if one link fails, and HPE quotes stacking throughput of up to 100 Gbps. In practice it lets a wiring closet grow from one switch to a stack without adding management points or uplink ports.

Compatibility — check before buying:
No stacking cables are included — order one per module: J9734A (0.5 m), J9735A (1 m) or J9736A (3 m). It fits 2930M switches only; the 2930F has no stacking module slot. The module is not hot-swappable: power the switch off before installing it. Each switch in the stack needs its own module. Tell us your switch models and we list the parts.
