HPE Aruba AP-MNT-MP10-B — 15/16" Ceiling Rail Mount Kit, 10-Pack
10 mounts15/16" (24 mm) T-railType BAP-5xx campus APs
The HPE Aruba Networking AP-MNT-MP10-B (Q9G69A) is a 10-pack of Type B universal metal ceiling mount brackets for HPE Aruba campus AP-5xx access points, designed to clip onto 15/16-inch (24 mm) T-bar rails of suspended ceilings. It is meant for network teams and installers rolling out multiple Aruba APs in offices, schools, hotels and warehouses with standard drop ceilings.
The bracket clips onto the ceiling rail; the mount already fitted to the AP slides onto it and locks with a lock ring, so APs can be installed and removed quickly without drilling into the ceiling tiles.
Before you order: Type B is for 15/16" (24 mm) T-bar rails only, such as Armstrong Prelude 15/16" Exposed Tee. 9/16" (14 mm) rails need AP-MNT-(MP10-)A, and 9/16" profile or bolt-slot rails need AP-MNT-(MP10-)C.
What's in the Box
- 10 × AP-MNT-B ceiling rail mount kits (10-pack)
- A lock-ring hook tool is provided according to the Aruba install guide; a #1 Phillips screwdriver is required and not included
What It Means in Practice
- One box covers ten access points — the usual way to order mounts for a multi-AP rollout.
- The AP clicks onto the rail bracket and is secured with a lock ring, so swapping or servicing an AP takes minutes.
- No drilling into ceiling tiles is needed on standard 24 mm T-bar ceilings.
- Check the rail width with a ruler before ordering — 24 mm (B) and 14 mm (A) look similar from the floor.
What Will Not Work
- It does not fit 9/16" (14 mm) T-rails or bolt-slot / profiled rails — use the A or C kits.
- It is not for solid ceilings or walls; use the appropriate Aruba wall or solid-ceiling mounts.
- It does not include access points.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Getting the ceiling rail type right is the most common mistake with Aruba AP mounts. Measure one rail before ordering, and order the 10-pack when you deploy several APs — it is simpler than single kits. Browse our
access points for the APs themselves.
✓ Buy it if you are installing several Aruba AP-5xx access points on 15/16" (24 mm) T-bar suspended ceilings.
✕ Skip it if your ceiling uses 9/16" (14 mm) or bolt-slot rails, or you need a wall or solid-ceiling mount.
→ Also consider AP-MNT-MP10-A for 9/16" rails, AP-MNT-MP10-C for profile/bolt-slot rails, or R3J16A for a single Type B kit.
Not sure which mount type you need? Send us your access point model and a photo of the ceiling rail and we will confirm before you order.
