The Conceptronic HUBBIES20G puts seven ports on a 138 mm aluminium bar — four full-size USB-A and three USB-C, all running USB 3.2 Gen 1 at up to 5 Gbps. The host lead is a 2-in-1 USB-A and USB-C cable, so it connects to a new laptop and an older machine without a separate adapter. There is also a dedicated USB-C 5 V / 3 A inlet for feeding the hub from a mains adapter when seven devices are more than a single laptop port should carry.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The USB-C 5 V / 3 A socket is a power inlet, not an eighth data port and not a charging output — plug a phone into it expecting 15 W and nothing useful will happen. No power adapter is included with this model. That is the whole difference between this and the HUBBIES20GP, which is the same hub with the adapter in the box: same seven ports, same 2-in-1 cable, same aluminium body, one letter apart in the model code.
