i-tec SOLOMON 100 Full HD 1080p Webcam
1080p 30 fps63° field of viewBuilt-in microphoneUSB-A + USB-C adapter
The i-tec SOLOMON 100 1080p Webcam (CAMSOLOMONF100) is an entry-level plug-and-play USB webcam with a 2 MP 1/3" CMOS sensor recording Full HD 1920 × 1080 at 30 fps, made for single users who need a reliable external camera for video calls at the desk.
Its 63° field of view frames one person head-and-shoulders without showing much of the room behind. A built-in microphone, a privacy shutter and a USB-A cable with a USB-C adapter make it ready for desktop PCs and USB-C laptops without drivers.
What's in the Box
- i-tec SOLOMON 100 webcam with integrated USB-A cable (145 cm)
- USB-A to USB-C adapter
- User manual
What It Means in Practice
- Connects to a free USB-A port, or USB-C, USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4/5 through the included adapter — no software needed.
- The narrow 63° view keeps the background tidy for one person; it is too tight for two or more people.
- Fixed focus is set for normal desk distance; items held close to the lens will look soft.
- The single built-in microphone covers voice up to 3 m — fine at a desk, not for a room.
- Mounts on a monitor or laptop lid with the clip, or on a tripod via the 1/4" thread.
What Will Not Work
- No 4K and no 60 fps — 1080p and 720p at 30 fps only; choose the SOLOMON 300 4K for higher resolution or smoother 1080p.
- Not suited to group calls — the 63° field of view frames one person.
- No autofocus for close-up document or product shots.
- Needs a USB port — no wireless connection.
