The i-tec SOLOMON 500 (CAMSOLOMON4K500) is a 4K Ultra HD USB webcam with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) for sharp, stable video calls and presentations. Its 1/2.5-inch 8.29 MP CMOS sensor records 3840 × 2160 at 30 fps, 2560 × 1440 at 30 fps or 1920 × 1080 at 60 fps, with an 81° field of view that suits a single user at a desk.

PDAF locks focus quickly and avoids the “hunting” of cheaper contrast-detect cameras when you move or hold up documents. Automatic exposure, white balance and black-level calibration keep the image natural, and two built-in microphones pick up speech within about 3 m. It connects via a 1.5 m USB-C cable with a USB-A adapter and works plug-and-play in Teams, Zoom, Meet and other apps.
