i-tec SOLOMON PRO 900 4K Webcam (CAMSOLOMON4K900)

4K Ultra HDAI auto-framingWDR92° + privacy shutter

The i-tec SOLOMON PRO 900 (CAMSOLOMON4K900) is the flagship of i-tec’s SOLOMON webcam range: a 4K USB camera with AI auto-framing that tracks and centres the active speaker, plus 5× digital zoom and a picture-in-picture mode. Its 1/2.8-inch 8.29 MP sensor, wide 92° field of view and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) suit executive desks and small huddle rooms with bright windows.

The camera records 3840 × 2160, 2560 × 1440, 1920 × 1080 or 1280 × 720 at 30 fps, has stereo microphones with about 3 m pickup, a mirror mode and an integrated privacy shutter. It is plug-and-play over a 1.5 m USB-C cable with USB-A adapter.

Compatibility note: AI auto-framing, digital zoom and picture-in-picture work in Full HD and HD only — not in 4K mode.

Key Features

AI auto-framing
The camera follows and centres the person speaking, so you stay in frame when you move around a desk or small room.

WDR for bright rooms
Wide Dynamic Range balances window light and shadow so faces stay visible against bright backgrounds.

Picture-in-picture and zoom
PiP keeps the full scene visible while a zoomed view highlights the speaker; 5× digital zoom tightens the shot for one-to-one calls.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the SOLOMON PRO 900 suitable for a small meeting room?
Yes, for huddle rooms of about 2–4 people. The 92° view, auto-framing and stereo mics cover a small table; larger rooms need a dedicated conference camera and speakerphone.
Does auto-framing work in 4K?
No. Auto-framing, zoom and picture-in-picture are available in 1080p and 720p. Since Teams and Zoom normally transmit 1080p or less, this rarely matters in live calls.
PRO 900 or SOLOMON 500 — which should I buy?
Choose the PRO 900 for AI framing, WDR, a wider view and a privacy shutter. Choose the 500 for PDAF autofocus and 1080p at 60 fps when close-up sharpness is the priority.
Singular Expert Insight
The most complete SOLOMON model: auto-framing and WDR solve the two classic webcam problems — drifting out of frame and a dark face in front of a window. It is our pick for managers’ desks and small huddle spaces. Solo users who never move much can save with the SOLOMON 500 or WH200.
✓ Buy it if you want a 4K business webcam that keeps you framed and handles bright backgrounds.
✕ Skip it if you need 60 fps video or PDAF close-up focus.
→ Also consider i-tec SOLOMON 500 (PDAF, 1080p60) or i-tec SOLOMON WH200 (Windows Hello).
