ICY BOX IB-HUB1457-C31 — Seven USB-C Ports at 10 Gbps, Powered
6 × USB-C 10 Gbps data1 × PD port 20 W12 V / 3 A adapterPort and wattage display
The ICY BOX IB-HUB1457-C31 gives a USB-C laptop or desktop six USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C data ports at up to 10 Gbps and a seventh USB-C port that charges phones and accessories at up to 20 W via Power Delivery. A 12 V / 3 A (36 W) adapter is included; with it all seven ports are active, and without it the hub still runs its six data ports from the host. Part number IB-HUB1457-C31 has a fixed 60 cm USB-C host cable, an integrated display showing active ports and charging power, and a grey-blue aluminium housing of 94 × 39 × 17 mm.
Compatibility — check before buying:
All ports, host and downstream, are USB-C. USB-A devices need C-to-A cables or adapters (not included), and there is no USB-A host option. No video output and no charging of the host — the 20 W port charges your phone, not your laptop. The 20 W PD port only works with the adapter plugged in.
Best For
✓ USB-C laptops that need six fast ports
✓ Portable SSD users who want 10 Gbps on every port
✓ Desks where a phone charges beside the PC
✓ Compact powered hub for a monitor arm or shelf
✓ Mac and Windows all-USB-C setups
✓ Audio and capture devices that dislike unpowered hubs
Key Features
Six Gen 2 data ports
Every data port is USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) — enough for NVMe enclosures at full speed — and backwards-compatible with older USB-C devices. Plug & play on Windows and macOS.
Charging port with a read-out
The seventh port delivers up to 20 W over Power Delivery when the adapter is connected; the built-in display shows which ports are active and the current charging wattage.
Works with or without the adapter
Bus-powered, the six data ports still function; with the included 12 V / 3 A adapter you get the PD port and stable power for drives. 105 g, aluminium, 60 cm captive cable.

Singular Expert Insight
The IB-HUB1457-C31 is the sensible middle of the ICY BOX USB-C range: more sockets than the four-port IB-HUB1454-C31, less desk space than the ten-port IB-HUB1450-C31, and it keeps working bus-powered when you travel. It is a pure USB expander — for a monitor and laptop charging on the same cable, compare our docking stations. For USB-A-based hubs see the rest of our USB hubs. Not sure it fits your setup? Tell us your laptop or PC model and what you want to plug in and we will check it before you order.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want six 10 Gbps USB-C ports plus a 20 W phone-charging port, with an adapter in the box and the option to run bus-powered when you are away from the desk.
Skip it if
Your peripherals are USB-A, you need the laptop charged through the hub, or you need HDMI/DisplayPort. Also skip it if the fixed 60 cm cable will not reach your computer.
