Singular Expert Insight
Buy this carrier only when you already use the IB-129SSK-B mobile rack and need additional drive trays. It is a practical way to prepare several SATA/SAS drives for controlled internal swapping, but it is not an external USB enclosure.
Buy it if: you own an IB-129SSK-B; need extra trays; use 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch SATA/SAS drives.
Skip it if: you need a standalone enclosure; need USB; do not own the compatible mobile rack.
Also consider: the complete IB-129SSK-B mobile rack; a USB SATA enclosure; an M.2 SSD enclosure.
