Inateck Lightour BP03005 — 20 L Travel Backpack for 13.3″ Laptops
20 L, 40 x 25 x 20 cm13.3″ laptop pocket180° clamshell openingAnti-theft zip pocket
The Inateck Lightour BP03005 in this 20-litre size is a compact black travel backpack with a 13.3-inch laptop pocket, built around a main compartment that opens 180 degrees like a suitcase so you can pack it flat instead of digging down through a top opening. Inateck lists it at 40 x 25 x 20 cm and 1120 g, with an anti-theft zipped pocket for a passport, side compression straps that pull the volume back down when the bag is half full, a trolley strap for rolling luggage, a bottle holder, and an air-mesh back panel with an adjustable chest strap. The fabric is described by Inateck as splash-proof. This is the smaller of the two BP03005 sizes — the article code is BP03005-13. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the 20 L / 13.3-inch version, not the 42 L cabin bag. Inateck sells BP03005 in two separate sizes that share one model number: Size S at 20 L (40 x 25 x 20 cm, 13.3″ laptop pocket, 1120 g) and Size L at 42 L (55 x 35 x 22 cm, 15.6″ laptop compartment, 1500 g). The article code here ends in -13, which is Inateck’s marker for the smaller 13.3-inch model, and the barcode confirms it. Two consequences: the pack does not expand from 20 L to 42 L — those are two different bags, not two states of one bag — and the carry-on / flight-approved claim and the airline list that Inateck publishes apply to the 55 x 35 x 22 cm Size L, not to this one. At 40 x 25 x 20 cm this bag is comfortably under cabin limits as a personal item, but we make no airline-specific claim; check your airline’s current allowance. Note also that Inateck says splash-proof, not waterproof, and supplies no rain cover with this model.
Best For
✓ Short trips with a 13.3″ laptop and a change of clothes
✓ Travellers who want a personal-item-sized bag under the seat
✓ Packing flat like a suitcase rather than loading from the top
✓ Carrying a passport in a pocket that sits against your back
✓ Day use where a 40 L travel pack would be far too much bag
✓ Commuters who want the volume to compress when half empty
Key Features
Opens 180 degrees like a suitcase
The main compartment folds fully open instead of gaping at the top, so you can lay clothes in flat, see everything at once and repack without unloading the bag. It is the single feature that separates a travel pack from an ordinary rucksack at this size.
13.3-inch laptop pocket in a 20 L body
Inateck specifies this size with a 13.3-inch laptop pocket inside a 40 x 25 x 20 cm shell weighing 1120 g. The multiple internal pockets keep cables, chargers and documents apart from clothing rather than leaving everything loose in one cavity.
Anti-theft pocket and compression straps
A zipped anti-theft pocket keeps a passport or wallet secure, and side compression straps cinch the pack down when it is not full, so a half-loaded bag still carries tight against your back instead of swinging.
Three ways to carry it
Shoulder straps with an air-mesh back panel and adjustable chest strap for walking, a top grab handle, and a side handle that lets you carry it like a piece of hand luggage. A trolley strap on the back slides it over the handle of a rolling case.

Singular Expert Insight
Two things are worth knowing before you buy this one. First, the name is misleading through no fault of the bag: 20L-42L reads like an expansion range and is not one, so make sure the 20 L size is what you actually want. Second, Inateck publishes remarkably little hard data — no fabric, no denier, no laptop-bay measurement — so the specification above is genuinely everything the manufacturer states, and we have deliberately left the gaps empty rather than fill them from reseller listings. What you are buying is a clamshell-opening 20 L pack at just over a kilo with a 13.3-inch laptop pocket and a passport pocket, which is a sensible weekend or under-seat bag. If you need a full cabin-sized pack, look at the 42 L version or a dedicated 40 L carry-on instead. Browse the rest of our laptop cases and backpacks, or the laptops range if you are matching a machine to a bag.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a compact 20 L travel pack that opens flat like a suitcase, takes a 13.3″ laptop, weighs just over a kilo, and has a passport pocket and compression straps for short trips or under-seat carry.
Skip it if
You expected a 42 L cabin bag, an expandable pack, a 15.6″ or 17″ laptop compartment, a rain cover or a genuinely waterproof shell. This is the small 13.3″ variant and Inateck claims splash resistance only.
Also consider
The 42 L Size L version of the same BP03005 if you need cabin volume and a 15.6″ bay, the Inateck BP03006 if you want a pack that genuinely expands, or a conventional 15–16″ laptop backpack if travel packing is not the point.
