The INCA IUTP-01TX is a USB and Type-C Gigabit Ethernet adapter: one RJ45 port at up to 1,000 Mbps on a short cable with a USB-C plug and a tethered USB-A adapter, so it connects to a USB-C laptop or tablet and to an older USB-A computer. It is powered by the USB port, housed in aluminium alloy, and INCA states it is plug and play with no driver. It is the simplest way to put a laptop without a network socket back on a cable.
Compatibility — check before buying:
USB-C or USB-A. Our product photos show a USB-C plug with a USB-A adapter tethered to the cable, so it fits either socket; INCA lists USB 3.0 and Type-C 3.1 connections. Not for phones: INCA states it is not compatible with mobile phones — it is for computers, notebooks and tablets. Ethernet only: there are no USB ports on it; for a hub with Ethernet and USB, see INCA’s IUTP-03TX or IUTP-5T. Not included: network cable.

Wi-Fi is fine until a video call freezes or a large upload crawls — then a cable wins. The IUTP-01TX is the smallest way to get one: Gigabit Ethernet from USB-C or, through its tethered tip, USB-A, with no driver and no power supply. It is deliberately single-purpose; if the laptop also needs USB sockets, INCA’s IUTP-03TX adds three USB 3.0 ports for little more. Note INCA’s own caution that it is not for phones.
