This processor uses the Intel LGA1851 socket and needs a compatible motherboard (Intel 800-series boards only, such as Z890, B860 or H810 — note the new LGA1851 socket is not compatible with LGA1700). It supports DDR5-6400 memory up to 192 GB. The unlocked multiplier allows overclocking on Z-series boards. As a tray unit it ships without a cooler — add a compatible cooler.
