Supplied as the retail boxed version (part number BX80768270K, EAN 5032037284837); note that unlocked K-series boxed processors do not include a cooler. Compatibility — read before you buy
This processor uses the Intel LGA1851 socket and needs a compatible motherboard (Intel 800-series boards only, such as Z890, B860 or H810 — note the new LGA1851 socket is not compatible with LGA1700). It supports DDR5-6400 memory up to 192 GB. The unlocked multiplier allows overclocking on Z-series boards. As an unlocked CPU it ships without a cooler — add a compatible air or liquid cooler.
