Intellinet 712217 19" Vented Cantilever Shelf, 2U, 250 mm, Grey
2U250 mm deepVented25 kg static load
The Intellinet 712217 is a 19-inch vented cantilever shelf, 2U high and 250 mm deep, that mounts on the front rails only and carries up to 25 kg of static load. It is made of 1.5 mm steel in light grey RAL 7035, with ventilation slots in the base and raised side walls.
It suits grey wall cabinets and shallow racks without usable rear rails, where an ISP router, fibre ONT, modem or small NVR needs a proper home. Intellinet specifies it for racks at least 400 mm deep.
Before you order: This is a 250 mm deep shelf. Anything deeper than 250 mm will overhang the back edge, so check your device depth. Your rack must be at least 400 mm deep.
What's in the Box
- 1 x 19-inch 2U vented cantilever shelf, 250 mm deep, grey
What It Means in Practice
- Front-rail mounting only, so it works in wall cabinets without rear rails.
- Vented base helps warm air escape from routers, ONTs and small switches.
- Taller 2U side walls keep devices in place when cables pull on them.
- Screws and cage nuts are not listed in the package - use your rack hardware or add a cage nut set.
What Will Not Work
- Devices deeper than 250 mm.
- Racks shallower than 400 mm.
- Loads above 25 kg.
- Black cabinets if colour matching matters - the black version is Intellinet 712507.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The typical wall cabinet ends up hosting the ISP router and ONT, and a short vented 2U cantilever shelf is the neat way to mount them. Check the 250 mm depth against your device first. For cage nuts, deeper shelves and PDUs, see our rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you need a grey, vented front-mount shelf for a compact router, ONT or small switch.
✕ Skip it if your device is deeper than 250 mm or heavier than 25 kg.
→ Also consider Intellinet 712507 (same shelf in black) or Intellinet 715119 (1U, 350 mm deep, grey).
