Intellinet 163682 — 1U Intelligent 8-Port PDU with Remote Outlet Switching
8 × C13 switchedC20 inlet · 16 ATemp & humidity sensorWeb management
The Intellinet 163682 is a 19 inch, 1U intelligent power distribution unit with eight IEC C13 outlets that can each be switched on, off or power-cycled remotely through a built-in web interface. It is aimed at small server rooms, comms cabinets and branch sites where someone needs to reboot a hung router or server without driving to the site.
The PDU meters total voltage, current and power, shows them on a front digital display, and has an internal temperature and humidity sensor with configurable warning and overload alarms. Power comes in through an IEC C20 inlet rated for 16 A, so it is designed to be fed from a UPS output or an upstream PDU.
Before you order: The supplied power cord is C19-to-C20 (2 m): it connects the PDU to a UPS or PDU with a C19 outlet. It does not plug into a wall socket. To feed it from a Schuko wall outlet you need a separate C19-to-Schuko cord rated for your load.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Intellinet 19 inch 1U intelligent 8-port PDU
- 19 inch rack-mount brackets
- 1 × C19-to-C20 power cable, 2 m
- Not included: wall-plug power cord, network cable
What It Means in Practice
- Reboot any single device (router, switch, server) remotely by power-cycling its outlet from a browser.
- Set start-up delays per outlet (0–99 s) so equipment powers up in the right order after an outage.
- See the total load on the display or web page before adding another device, and get alarms before you hit 16 A.
- The built-in sensor warns if the cabinet gets too hot or humid.
What Will Not Work
- It will not plug into a normal wall socket out of the box — the included cord is C19-to-C20.
- Metering is for the whole PDU only; per-outlet current measurement is not offered.
- Outlets are IEC C13 — Schuko-plug devices need C14 power cords.
- SNMP and email alerts are not listed in Intellinet's documentation — if your monitoring system relies on SNMP, ask us first.
Key Features
Per-outlet switching
Each of the 8 outlets can be switched on/off or cycled individually, with a named label and programmable delay.
Total metering

Environmental monitoring
Built-in temperature (0–50 °C) and humidity (20–90 %) sensor with alarm thresholds.
Protected, fanless design
Lightning and surge protection circuit, metal UL94 V-0 housing, per-outlet LEDs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I switch off one outlet remotely?
Yes. Every outlet can be switched on, off or power-cycled from the web interface.
Does it measure each outlet separately?
No, Intellinet documents total input metering only (V, A, W) for the whole unit.
What is the default login?
The unit ships with a default IP (192.168.0.100) and default credentials documented in the manual — change them during setup.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Remote outlet switching is what separates this from a plain power strip: a stuck modem or switch can be power-cycled in seconds without a site visit. Plan the input side before ordering — this unit expects a C19 source such as a UPS output; if you are feeding it from the wall, add a C19-to-Schuko cord. See our other
rack accessories for mounting and cable management.
✓ Buy it if you need remote per-outlet reboot and cabinet temperature/humidity alarms in a small rack.
✕ Skip it if you need per-outlet metering or SNMP integration, or you only want a basic power strip.
→ Also consider a basic 19 inch C13 rack power strip if remote control is not needed.
Not sure how to feed it? Tell us your UPS or wall socket type and total load, and we will recommend the right input cord.
