The Intellinet 712248 is a 1U 19" fixed shelf, 550 mm deep and rated for 50 kg static load, that turns an empty rack position into a platform for equipment that cannot be rack-mounted — modems, routers, NAS units, small PCs, monitors or a tower UPS. It is made of 1 mm steel with an antistatic powder coating in light grey RAL 7035.
A fixed shelf is the most flexible accessory in a cabinet: anything with a flat base can sit on it. The 550 mm depth gives a large surface for deeper desktop devices, while the 1U height keeps rack space loss to a minimum.
Before you order: Intellinet publishes the depth as 550 mm (some listings show 525 mm). Check that your cabinet has enough usable depth for a 550 mm shelf plus cabling — typically an 800 mm or deeper cabinet.
